Nicole is a Graphic Designer here at In The Gap and helps to ensure everything we produce is looking its best. With an eye for detail, Nicole uses her love for creating, design, and making things better along with her knowledge of the current trends to keep what we produce feeling fresh and up to date. On top of this, she also has a heart for the unborn and volunteers at a pregnancy center in town.
“I grew up in the suburbs of Detroit and Chicago with a crazy fun family of eleven children. As a child I could be found climbing trees, practicing music, playing outside with my siblings, or washing the endless piles of dishes. Things I enjoy now include; running through fields, a cozy cup of coffee, heart-to-hearts, quiet piano music, cartwheels, and playing games with kids.
When I came to In The Gap, God opened my eyes to what life should be about: loving Him, loving people, and building His Kingdom. “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.” (Luke 10:27) God launched me out of my comfort zone into a world of teaching hundreds of children every week. He also began to break my heart for the kids in the world who don’t have anyone to love them. I came to understand that we as Christians are called to stand in the gap for the helpless and that He uses us on this earth to do His work.
My desire is to passionately fall in love with Jesus and live in relationship with Him. I also strive to intensely love the people in my life, both through deep friendships and life-on-life discipleship. I am excited to be involved in inner city communities here in Oklahoma City. It is incredible to see Jesus transforming lives and the culture for His glory!”Nicole
